EICAS "ENG _ START VLV" (Engine Start Valve Failed To Open; No Air To Starter)

Indications:

• Start switch latches in position but Start Valve Open Light remains off
• Engine Bleed PRSOV Off Light is extinguished; Confirming Engine Bleed Valve has open
• No N2 rotation
• After short delay, EICAS msg "ENG _ START VLV"
  

Actions:

• Call for "ENG _ START VLV" Checklist
• Discontinue start; Push Start Switch in (by recall)
• Inform GND and ATC
  

Note:

• Dispatch is allowed as per MEL using manual override start procedures in coordination with the GND Crew operating/closing the Start Valve
