Indications:- Start Valve Open Light latches in start position but not illuminated
- Engine Bleed PRSOV Off Light extinguished
- N2, N1, oil pressure normal
- Carry out light test to check Start Switch Bulb operation
- Continue until 52% N2 with all other start indications normal; Start Valve closure can be confirmed after 52% N2 by, (a) a decrease in duct pressure, (b) absence of EICAS msg "STARTER CUTOUT _"
- If not normal indications, discontinue start; Push Start Switch in (by recall)

Common Errors:
- Interpreting indications as Start Valve fail to open
- Not doing light test
- Not checking MEL
