No EGT Indication < NO GO >

Indications:

• EGT guage blank
  

Actions:

• Check N1, EPR, Oil Temp indications
• If these indications not present by 8% N2, probable EEC failure (check MEL for EEC)
• If these indications normal but still no EGT indication,
  
• Discontinue start; Push Start Switch in (by recall)
• Inform GND and ATC to return to bay
• Complete "AFTER LANDING CHECKS" prior to parking
  

Circuit Breaker(s):

• NO
  

MEL:

• No write up in MEL on EGT display; IMPLYING NO DISPATCH!!!
  

Common Errors:

• Misinterpreting as no light up
